Starring Moka Coffee Maker, Friends and John Denver in a Not-So-Distant Past...

This post is now like a vintage gem, from December 2012. Ah! Today, painting our old café chronicles with nostalgia! By the way, curious about 'Country Roads'? Play the SoundCloud widget just above to uncover the artist behind this beautiful music. As you sip your coffee there, and I drink mine here, imagine the whispers of laughter and tales that have danced around that Moka coffee maker in the photo! I'm sure you also have stories like that one always listening to some good music - so rare, nowadays, isn't it?  Now I turned them into a relic of the past not so distant, yet.

Gather 'round, for a delightful journey through the pleasure that the café provides us. We see here my friend Nando and his, Felipe França, an Italian Moka well-poised, and just below, Rodrigo, immersed in a world of the tea wonders. Those were an extract of our meetings with coffee! At this coffee shop that I owned until the arrival of the pandemic, we served several tea flavors, for tea lovers, like the Chai - a sip of India's s flavors,  while also, as supposed, several different preparations of latte art.

Now, we dive into the part of the cream, where only good memories remain... That old Italian Moka pictured, a creation of the early 1800s, stands as a testament to timeless ingenuity, lost in these actual days. It functions without filters, making it not only a coffee aficionado's dream but also a budget-saver. Fun Fact: It's "espresso" with an 's', paying homage to the Italian art of "extraction under pressure", rather than a hurried "express" means in English.

Feeling the caffeine buzz yet? So now meet the FRENCH PRESS! We journeyed through different brewing methods, and we invite you now to savor not just the taste but the essence of living the coffee culture... Perfect baristas!

I thank God and all of you who made part of this adventure that was, being friends! Do like we did, keep drinking around, find new friends, respect all, and always improve like human beings, building new stories, just as we did, fellow enthusiasts!

The Power of your Words in your Diary

Your mind is a treasure trove, storing precious memories that shape your growth and experiences. Just like we rely on cherished photos and affectionate messages, keeping a personal diary becomes a lifeline that triggers recollection of our unique moments. Have you considered the significance of having your own diary, written regularly, just like Anne Frank? In those inspired moments, you capture the essence of life's journey, discover valuable insights into your essence, and most of all, more than that, you develop your writing technique on a daily basis. As we write, we find inspiration in capturing the magic of a moment and giving it meaning through words. A diary becomes a timeless witness to our evolution, revealing the innocence of our past selves and the transformative power of the present. Take, for example, "The Diary of Anne Frank," a testament to the enduring importance of documenting life's realities. Anne Frank's diary stands as a poignant reminder of hope and resilience in the face of the Holocaust's horrors. It is a testament to the significance of keeping records for generations to understand our shared history. Now, let's take a point of view with the trending topic of these last days, about Aliens and UFOs, where military retirees have sworn that the United States possesses non-human bodies and equipment not of earthly origin, suggesting the existence of life beyond our planet. Like here, sometimes, the truth remains hidden for decades, surfacing only years later, and impacting new generations. Similarly, Anne Frank's diary also emerged later, revealing a poignant cry for help and an explicit depiction of the daily struggle of a hidden Jewish family during the war. All because of her Diary! This notion underscores the importance of keeping a diary! Just as artists' creations may not gain recognition during their lifetimes but become invaluable to future generations, your diary becomes a treasure, an authentic representation of your life's journey for your posterity.

Secrets, whether earthly or alien, have been shrouded in mystery like those said to be concealed in 'Area 51.' Anne Frank's diary, too, remained hidden, revealing a story of courage and survival that resonates with generations to come. So, begin crafting the novel of your life today! Through writing, you'll evolve in mastering the art of self-expression and language. Your diary will become a canvas for articulating your experiences more profoundly, allowing your words to transcend time and shape the essence of your legacy. At the very least, this practice will make you an excellent writer in your language. Start your diary as soon as possible. Next year read some excerpts and see how much you will have evolved, in every way!
